This is the most exciting iPhone 8 rumor yet. The new phone could come with a "smart Connector", says Israeli tech site The Verifier. It would likely be similar to the three-pin connector on the iPad Pro and could be used for all sorts of new features.

A New Way To Charge

Forget fumbling to plug in your phone. The iPhone 8's Smart Connector could make charging a breeze. It would let you plug in your phone magnetically. like the Apple Watch. No more annoying Lightning cables!. 

Apple VR coming soon?

The rumor says the new Smart Connector could be used to hook your iPhone 8 up to a virtual reality headset. The idea isn't too far fetched_Apple's competitors like Samsung and Google already have VR headsets that connect to phones.

while Apple has never brought a formal virtual reality headset to exactly ignored the technology. In 2006 and 2008, it patented designs for two different VR headsets. We're pretty convinced Apple has something virtual reality-related up its sleeve.
